Whaling Museum
Closed, January 1 – February 10
Mon-Sat, 10am-4pm, February 11- May 22
Daily, 10am-5pm, May 23-October 12

Research Library
Open Mon–Fri by appointment only, 10am–4pm

Effective May 4, 2026, the Research Library will be closed for ongoing construction related to the replacement of the skylight over the reading room. The library will re-open to researchers on June 1, 2026. While in-person access is limited, please contact us via email (above) for remote research assistance.
Historic Sites
- Friends Meeting House is open during Research Library hours.
- Old Mill, Oldest House, Old Jail & Greater Light are closed for the season. Reopening June 2026.
